Iran’s radical Endurance Front, known as “Super Revolutionaries,” is intensifying efforts to derail US-Iran peace negotiations, accusing negotiators of disloyalty while staging mass street rallies in Tehran.
TEHRAN — As US-Iran negotiations enter a critical phase, a small but influential Iranian hardline faction known as “Jebhe-ye Paydari” — the Endurance Front — is aggressively working to sabotage any potential agreement with Washington.
Described by observers as “Super Revolutionaries,” the group views resistance against the United States and Israel as ideologically non-negotiable. “They view resistance against the United States and Israel as an eternal fight,” Hamidreza Azizi of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs told CNN.
The faction has accused Iran’s chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf of collusion, called for Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s removal, and staged nightly street rallies amplifying Trump’s claims of Iranian internal divisions.
However, analysts say the group is increasingly isolated. “They’re making a lot of noise and are perceived to have helped Israel and the US in portraying Iran as caught in major internal division,” said Mohammad Ali Shabani of Amwaj.media.
Seven parliamentarians affiliated with the group have refused to endorse Iran’s negotiating team.
