Charlie Kirk’s widow, parents to sit in on hearing for man accused of his killing

Charlie Kirk’s widow and parents are expected to attend a pivotal preliminary hearing where prosecutors will lay out evidence against the man accused of murdering the conservative activist.

Erika Kirk and Charlie Kirk’s parents plan to be in the courtroom next week for a critical hearing in the case against Tyler Robinson, according to ABC News.

The hearing kicks off July 6 in Utah and will decide if prosecutors have enough to send the case to trial. It’s also the first time Kirk’s family will face Robinson, 23, who faces an aggravated murder charge over the September 2025 shooting and hasn’t entered a plea.

Prosecutors, seeking the death penalty, plan to present forensic evidence, surveillance footage, witness statements, autopsy findings and alleged messages tying Robinson to the killing, plus DNA found on items linked to the rifle. Source: ABC News/AP.
