Hezbollah attacks on Israeli troops currently occupying Lebanese territory have been quite deadly and harmful. Just last night Hezbollah injured at least four Israeli soldiers on the front lines here in southern Lebanon.
The fight between Israel and Hezbollah has been growing more intense. It grew even more complicated when Hezbollah introduced fibre optic, guided attack drones that can evade any kind of electronic interference. They don’t run on GPS so electronic countermeasures that a military normally would use do not work on these specific kinds of drones.
And Hezbollah has been carrying out many of these attacks in large numbers. They’ve already carried out over a dozen attacks since midnight last night, most on Israeli troops around Nabatieh – the second-largest city in the south.
It’s also been able to carry out strikes on Israeli troops as far south as Hadith. So the situation continues to develop, and Israel doesn’t seem to have a response to this weapon on the battlefield.
Hezbollah, meanwhile, says it doesn’t accept the ceasefire negotiated by Lebanon’s government with Israel.
