Kash Patel faces scrutiny over alleged lavish outings and use of FBI resources amid broader leadership concerns.
FBI Director Kash Patel is facing renewed scrutiny over alleged misuse of government resources, according to The Advocate. Reports revealed Patel took part in a “VIP snorkel” excursion near the USS Arizona Memorial in Hawaii during an official trip.
A separate report detailed his use of an FBI jet to attend a country music concert in Philadelphia with his girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, where they occupied a luxury suite. Officials said she attended as “an invited guest.”
The incidents add to ongoing concerns about Patel’s leadership, including allegations of excessive drinking and internal turmoil, which he has denied.
During a Senate hearing, Patel dismissed the claims as “a total farce.”
The developments have intensified debate over accountability and conduct at the bureau under his leadership.
