Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter lead iTunes chart as fake AI songs claim four spots in top 10

Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter debuted at number one on iTunes with “Bring Your Love,” but the milestone is overshadowed by four fake AI-generated songs infiltrating the top 10 chart.

Madonna’s collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, “Bring Your Love,” has debuted at number one on iTunes, marking a triumphant return for the pop icon. Lady Gaga also made waves, dropping two more singles from “The Devil Wears Prada 2” to add to her growing hit, “Runway.”

However, the celebrations are overshadowed by a troubling development — four fake AI-generated singles have infiltrated the iTunes top 10, with fictitious artists “Eddie Dalton,” “Inga Rose,” and “Jada Monroe” claiming chart spots. More than a dozen additional AI tracks populate the top 100, with two full AI albums also appearing on the album chart.

The Recording Academy and RIAA have yet to respond, while iTunes appears unconcerned. Spotify, however, has announced plans to start identifying AI releases, signalling growing industry pressure to tackle the problem head-on.
