Tabby’s Star dimmed by 20% intermittently which is something never seen before. Normal planets block less than 1% of a star’s light. Even Jupiter would only dim our Sun by about 1%. A 20% drop is unheard of.
Kaku explains why scientists seriously considered it could be an intelligent megastructure orbiting the star.
This is what happens when observations break every natural explanation we know. The universe keeps getting weirder.
