Russian President Vladimir Putin told Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Monday that Moscow intended to continue its strategic relations with Tehran and would do what it could to help peace be reached as soon as possible. Araghchi in turn said his visit to St. Petersburg confirmed the partnership would remain strategic and thanked Russia for standing by Iran during difficult times.
