Thousands of unexplained underwater UFO sightings along US coasts are raising fresh questions about security and possible unknown technology.
A UFO-tracking platform, Enigma Labs, has recorded thousands of mysterious underwater objects along United States coastlines, sparking fresh debate over their origin and potential security risks.
The organisation said it has logged about 30,000 sightings since 2022, including over 9,000 near major water bodies since August 2025. These Unidentified Submersible Objects (USOs) are described as fast-moving craft capable of transitioning between water and air.
“What is really interesting to me is the reports that we receive about [United States] underwater vessels detecting craft moving at exceptionally high speeds underwater,” said Kent Heckenlively.
Experts warn the sightings could pose national security concerns, with clusters recorded in California and Florida. Officials say more transparency is needed as investigations continue.
