Rudolph Giuliani, former mayor of New York City, is in critical condition at a Florida hospital, according to his spokesman, Ted Goodman. While details about the hospital and timeline remain unclear, Goodman said Giuliani is “in critical but stable condition.” He added, “Mayor Giuliani is a fighter… and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak,” urging the public to “join us in prayer.”
At 81, Giuliani has faced mounting legal and health challenges in recent years, including a 2025 car crash that left him with a fractured vertebra.
Once celebrated for leading New York through the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks, he later became a key ally and lawyer to Donald Trump, embroiled in post-election controversies and legal battles.
