PRINCE HARRY LOSES PRIVACY CASE AGAINST DAILY MAIL PUBLISHER

The Duke of Sussex and six others, including singer Elton John, his husband David Furnish, actress Elizabeth Hurley and campaigner Doreen Lawrence, have lost their case against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL), publisher of the Daily Mail, CNN reports.

A UK High Court judge dismissed all claims on Tuesday after the group failed to prove allegations of unlawful information gathering between 1993 and 2011, including voicemail interception, phone tapping and “blagging” of private records.

The ruling came as Prince Harry began a week of UK engagements marking one year to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham. ANL had denied wrongdoing throughout the trial, maintaining its journalists used legitimate sources, and argued the claims were brought too late.
