Senate Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said “no one has any faith” in what President Trump might say on Thursday during his primetime address to the nation, saying the president “particularly lied about the elections in 2020.”
“As long as he keeps appointing sycophants to the agencies in charge of the intelligence, no one has any faith or trust in what he’s going to say,” he told reporters Thursday at the Capitol.
Sources tell CBS News that President Trump’s primetime speech Thursday is expected to touch on previously unreported alleged Chinese meddling in U.S. elections.
