Elon Musk is dreaming way beyond Earth — again.
According to a new SpaceX prospectus first reported by NBC News, the billionaire’s long-term plan includes building a massive self-sustaining city on Mars with at least one million residents.
The filing reportedly ties part of Musk’s future compensation to reaching that milestone, alongside SpaceX hitting an eye-watering multi-trillion-dollar valuation.
The IPO documents also paint Mars colonisation as essential to humanity’s survival, warning humans should avoid “the same fate as dinosaurs.”
Despite huge revenue ambitions, SpaceX is still losing billions while pouring cash into rockets, AI and satellite expansion.
Still, investors appear hooked on Musk’s giant interplanetary gamble.
