Saudi and UAE-based outlets, including Al Arabiya and Sky News Arabia, reported that Israeli special forces and Mossad operatives conducted ground missions inside Iran overnight, targeting sites in Tehran and Isfahan provinces.
The claims, which remain unverified, suggest efforts to disable facilities such as Natanz and gather intelligence as part of Israel’s broader campaign.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said air superiority over parts of Iran had been achieved, while U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth declined to rule out potential ground involvement, stating, “We’re not going to go into the exercise of what we will or will not do… We’ll go as far as we need to go.” Israeli officials have not formally confirmed operations inside Iran.
