Israel and the US have widened their airstrikes across Iran, targeting key leadership and military sites as both sides continue exchanging attacks.
Israel and the United States have expanded their air campaign across Iran, shifting from high-value military and command targets to a broader range of strategic sites as the conflict deepens. According to reports, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has dropped about 2,500 bombs since the operation began, while US forces reportedly struck twice as many targets, collectively surpassing the scale of previous engagements in June 2025.
Among the latest strikes was a large leadership complex in Tehran, reportedly housing key government and security institutions. Israeli officials said the expanded offensive aims to degrade Iran’s missile capabilities and weaken the regime’s operational structure, even as Tehran continues retaliatory attacks on Israeli territory, with emergency services reporting casualties in central Israel.
